Mission
1966
In 1966, Shri Kanji B Shah established ‘Royal Plastics’, marking the inception of India’s pioneering venture to introduce plastic buckets to households nationwide.
1971
‘Royal Plastics’ sold the 1st plastic bucket in India. It replaced the traditional metal bucket and opened up new avenues for plastic in the household industry. We started a new ‘Door-to-Door’ sales movement within the plastic segment.
1981
Our Chairman Mr. Vinod K Shah, started ‘Vee Kay Sales’, which rapidly became the all-India distributor for the National Plastic Group (currently Nirmal Poly Plast Pvt. Ltd.)
1989
We began our first manufacturing unit ‘Nirmal Poly Plast Pvt. Ltd.’ with just 4 machines and an area of 2000 sq. ft.
1991
1st export container to Germany was shipped, thereby starting our prosperous relationship with the international markets.
1996
‘Nirmal Poly Plast Pvt. Ltd.’ was awarded the ‘Best Exporter’ by PLEX Council, which is governed by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
2001
Our product range grew to more than 200 products. Our manufacturing facility expanded to 25000 sq. ft. We shipped our 1st container to the USA.
2003
We incorporated ‘Ratan Poly Plast’, expanded our reach across North America and developed the South America, Middle East and Asian markets.
2005
Mr. Harshit V Shah stepped in as Director and CEO, and began overseeing the manufacturing and exports divisions.
2012
Mr. Nishit Shah joined the company and focused on capturing a larger share of the domestic market.
2015
‘Nirmal Poly Plast Pvt. Ltd.’ attained the highest creditworthiness rating from Crisil and has maintained this rating, year after year.
2018
We laid the foundation for our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad to achieve economies of scale.
2019
Recognizing the growing and diversified market demand for a product line featuring innovative designs, utility, and affordability, we introduced the breakthrough premium brand 'KOLORR'.
2022
Brand ‘Kolorr’ was recognised as one of the Best Brands by the esteemed The Economic Times.
